There are two aspects of our organization, one being this very board, the second being our discord channel. Please take a moment to join us on our discord channel to chat, plot, and say hello! While we use the discord as a tool to socialize we mainly do most of our role playing and writing here on our forum. While this may be a slower pace than trendy discord roleplays we believe in making a literary experience and expand our creative writing through use of the forum. Occasionally we may knock dialogue out on the discord channel as well.

We are fairly lax in our standards but do ask for common sense and believability when drafting your characters. We want to create exciting stories that compel each other and that can only happen with great characters! If you need inspiration or ideas please feel free to ask other members for ideas and we’ll be happy to brainstorm together!

Ok you’ve made your character, what now? Post! Go ahead and join that story’s topic and create your own addition to that storyline. Work with the other players to work any new characters in smoothly and to plot relevant storylines together. Just because you may want your character to be bad ass doesn’t mean everyone else will see them that way. Grow your characters naturally and enjoy the ride that they take you on!

My name is Grayson or you can call me GG. I am 36 and the second oldest of 5 brothers. I work in local government here in Las Vegas and am currently saving to buy a house. I like to read, write, and draw in my spare time as well as watch TV/movies, collect comic books (Marvel/X-Men fan) and play video games (PS4).   I also do freelance graphic design on occasion.

I’ve been role playing since I was 16 in the days of AOL before transitioning to forum RP. I am new to the Advent Destiny scene and I’m playing my first ever Gundam character here.

Gundam has been a second-hand experience for me. Gundam Wing was in my line-up along the 90s anime alongside my intro anime, Sailor Moon. I was too young to really appreciate the nuance Gundam brought to anime and it hung on the periphery of my anime experience.

Most of my anime is an extension of Sailor Moon in some way shape or form. Utena was created from a Sailor Moon contact and features three of its VA (Kotono Mitsuishi, Aya Kisakawa, Yurok Fuchizaki), Neon Genesis Evangelion (Kotono Mitsuishi, Megumi Ogata), and Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne just to name a few.

I recently finished Kajkegurui and started Re: Creators before adding Gundam SEED to my watchlist for Advent which to my surprise features Kotono Mitsuishi the VA of Sailor Moon as Murrue Ramius

Advent popped up in my Reddit notification after a fruitless search for an RP to join. I was hesitant to join due to my lack of Gundam knowledge but was intrigued by the challenge of playing in setting I was not familiar with completely. Thanks to Roromi and a deep dive into the mecha site, Gundam wiki, and the Gundam SEED anime, I am trying my hand at playing Kali. I am on episode 19 so far and Flay is...oy...

Kali is physically based off Himemiya Anthy from Utena and she was not initially the character I intended to play but her inception is creative boon. I am excited for her growth in the Orb RP and looking forward to where the story takes her.

If you guys have any Gundam (or other favorite anime) recommendations for me they are more than welcome. 

Table top wise, since 1992ish, everything from AD&S 2nd ed to Rifts and World of Darkness. I have been RPing on MU*es since about 1993 to 1994, my first was a place called Heroes & Villains or H&V. From there I went to Transformers 2005 MUSH in 1998 and was there first as Slingshot than Stratosphere and in 1999 Compile.

I was also the Wraith and was active there till around 2005/2006. I was at other places, some I cannot even remember any more and some that I care not to remember. For a time, I took some time off after I had gotten married and began with having kids and starting a family. Additionally, the RP was taking me away form my time with them, so I decided to quit with all RP, both online and tabletop, although I had not much of a tabletop RP life.

I was active on a few message board games, Dewback Wing, a Star Wars. Theme and a few others, including Afterhours Mayhem, now called denouement and some Star Trek ones from when AOL, America Online was still used; if you remember that time.

After having three kids and my wife who graduated form college, I decided to get active again and to RP as a way to have fun and relax that does not involve the kids or wife. I love my wife and kids, but I do need a break and time to myself, which I do when I am able to do the hobby my wife introduced me to, American Civil War Re-enacting. Both of us, including our kids have been doing it for about 5 years, and last year was the first year that we were unable to make any event, both locally and nationally. Our last national event was the 150th Battle of Gettysburg and the other national event I went to was the 150th Battle of Shiloh in Shiloh, TN.

Before my return to the world of MCM, I began to get involved in the MMO Star Trek Online and I am regularly on that when family allows, and I also am active on Twitch.tv on Thursdays at 2 pm CST when the Doctor Who Legacy starts with TheAdiposeTV and I have been a big fan of the game Doctor Who Legacy and enjoy it greatly.

Upon my return to MCM, I wanted to play a character I had fun with the last time, and that was either Duo Maxwell or Terry McGinnis. I decided on Terry McGinnis and I am the previous and current Terry McGinnis (Batman Beyond) player from 2008 and I additionally played the following FCs/OFC/OCs:

Additionally, I am also active with my kids in Scouts BSA, my 13 year old is about to become a First Class Scout, my 11 year old is to cross over from Arrow of Light to Troop in a month and my youngest, the 6 year old is a Lion.

Valiant, founder of the SEED RPG and Advent Destiny. I\'m a big fan of Gundam and to an extent, the mecha genre. My obsession with Gundam and writing spurred me to start a Gundam role-playing forum. Writing in my first love, but *photography* is my passion. I have many favourites when it comes to Gundam, so it is hard for me to pick. Rather, I'll give a brief detail of Gundam journey.

When I was young, I would pick up my dad's model magazines with pictures of Gundams. That intrigued me. However, my eyes were still veiled. Even my encounters of gunpla sets in the shopping malls did not result in an obsession, largely because I was too young to grasp the concept of building figurines. Why go through the trouble when you can just buy ready made toys?

My early experience of the mecha genre revolved around BattleTech, Patlabor and the super robot sub-genre. My first taste of Gundam came in the form of Gundam Wing. It was shown on TV back at a time before anime became a huge thing outside of Japan. I was hooked. I bought posters, cards, and created a Gundam Wing web shrine through coding raw HTML in Notepad. As it were for teenagers, that flicker was extinguished when I got into gaming and Star Wars. Gundam SEED was released before I entered university. With a lot of spare time and little to do, I gobbled up the series and wanted more. I plunged into research on the genre. And I've been immersed in Gundam since.

I also founded MechaBay, our sister site, that is dedicated to providing a high quality mecha database. I'm still a sysop on the Gundam Wiki but that encyclopaedia is in such a mess that it is almost impossible to clean up. MechaBay is sort of a reset to build a proper mecha database from a clean slate. A crowdsourced database like the Gundam Wiki has the advantage of sheer volume of content, but I believe that we can build up MechaBay a step at a time and come away with a polished site that is free of distracting advertisements. I likely won't be sticking around here for very long, but I used to roleplay on Advent Destiny around 2010~ish under the username Alistair Judge (though I ran many characters, such as Cross Kelst and Jude Ellsworth). For some reason, I had a random thought about advent destiny --i think it was the username of an old friend from those days, Techi Zinphio--pop into my head today and, lo and behold, you're still here. But I wanted to pop in and say hey, even though I don't really rp anymore, because the years when I did were some good times. 

I don't know if there is anybody here who really remembers me, but I guess a quick shout out to the names *I* remember from that time: Janus, Ryou, Brightblurr, Outlaw, MM007, Techi, AaronW, Lunamaria, and all the rest.

i'm pretty keen on gundam so i'm super eager to get things rolling with you guys. i've been a forum roleplayer since 2009, so i hope my skills are up to snuff!

I would like to start off by saying that I have never, ever, not once, done role playing before. Or at least, never forum based. So any and all help would be appreciated.

Also, I am only semi-familiar with Gundam- my friends all love it but I've only seen a few episodes of Gundam Wing, so forgive me if I seem a little... unaware of what is going on (on top of how I have no idea how to role play). I am, however, very interested and excited about trying it out.

Anyway, I just made a character, and am waiting for approval. If anyone has any advice on what to do after it is approved, if it gets approved, that would be fantastic.

I'm new! so... HI to everyone!

I'm Strike, but you call me Strike. I've been roleplaying on a few diffrent boards for just under a year. I've even had my own board which was active and good until school started. I've watched this board for a while and finally joined after hearing quite a bit about it from PhoenixForce, and I've been looking for a Gundam RP that is different from the others. I have saw all of Gundam SEED and I've read all about Destiny and saw a few bits and piece here and there. I've read the rules so I'll began making of my first character quite soon.

Both Keri and myself are sorry for disappearing but real life as always gets in the way.  Numerous things worthy of a bad soap opera, Not least of which Keri's sister Julia (Some of you may remember from Lost Hope) ending up in a coma for a while and Keri's father passing away.

I just really wanted to say hi and I missed you guys genuinely I did and you cant imagine how sorry I am that I never made it to singapore in december.

For you guys that dont know me I play Ray Katsuki here and I played Bronan Ikaru on the old site.  Looking forward to getting back into the rpg at some point lol if Ray is still alive!

OPA here from seed; after my initial heart attack of reading an e-mail saying that seedrpg was closing; I double checked and found out to my immense relief that we're just moving house.

So here I am.  Great to RP with all of ya's on this shiny new site.

I am PhoenixForce and I just registered a little while ago. Although I have quite some experience with RPG's, none like this one so I am looking forward to starting a character. I have read up on the rules and the guides and will soon create my first character. Although my knowledge isn't the best on these 2 series I have seen all of Gundam Seed multiple times and all except 3 episodes of Gundam Seed Destiny once so please excuse if I need help remembring cities or mobile armours because I wasn't able to remember all of them.I can't wait to start Rping.
