So, this game is called Add Three Words. It's quite self explanatory, but I'll explain anyways.

What you do is add three words to the previous person's post, and you end up creating quite a random story! (Sometimes it gets quite humorous!). 

If someone adds a period at the end of their words, you start a new sentence.

For example:

I say "I once heard..."

Then someone else says "That pink bunnies..."

Then the next person would say "Are very fierce."

And someone replies " So I suggest..."

And blah blah blah.

You can add whatever your heart desires! Purple frogs! Polka-dotted bananas! A Squishy spark plug! So go to town and have some fun!

You get it right? So I'll start.

I once saw...

Option 1: For the prequel, it could be set a few years before the series starts and shows how OZ formed and those against it. This would be original, using known suits, including Tallgeese and the 5 creators of the Gundams. Only issue I see, is that the suits would not be the research and this would be more or less fan made and completely original.

Option 2: This would take place between Endless Waltz and Frozen Teardrop. At the end of EW, Zechs and Noin head to Mars to work on terraforming and the time between EW and Frozen Teardrop. However all main char (FCs) suits have been destroyed. In Frozen Teardrop, the Gundams are rebuilt and piloted by the kids of the original pilots. But that is not out in an English translation and there are no images of the suits, except for the redone Wing Zero Gundam.

Option 3: would be a crossover series, however, the crossover one is happening with the Builder series as you have everything. And there is not much history to a prequel of Wing, so it would be more or less original.

Option 4: an original side story, like Last Outpost (G-Unit) that happens on some other colony, there are many at each of the 5 Lagrange points. This would be something original like Option 2, and could be fun for some original suit designs or suit designs from other Gundam series that are not out, I can name one that involves the suits that transform into various creatures; like a wolf, tiger, lion, et al, called Nostalgic Fiction Gundam Beast. This is neat as it takes Gundam and combines with Zoids in a sense. The suits are piloted like MS and the suits are not alive like in Zoids. It is a fully fan made and created series with stats on the suits.

Although, doing something prior to a known series could be fun and the incidents that do happen could be explored.  Again what is people’s opinion on this and any help would be needed.

It was been a little over 2 years since Advent Destiny was revived by Valiant. Since then, a small group of people have created many different posts on the site. Not only is it important for archival purposes, but it should be celebrated that the website didn't die out, however close it came sometimes. As someone who came at the beginning of the revival, I'd like to share a bit of history about the stories and people who have given me such joy.

The website revival, after some planning, began with Zeta Destiny, a AEUG/Neo Zeon OC RP taking place shortly after the events of Zeta Gundam. It had managed to grab attention of a few players, including the veteran Roromi, Replicator, and myself. As a side note, this was my very first RP and I learned a ton from these people. Ryder Sarka taught me a lot on how to write quality posts. (Well, quality posts for my writing skill level)

For the first RP, it didn't last long. The AEUG and Neo Zeon only made it one mission before being abandoned. A few spin off arose. Flashbacks for certain characters, along with another mission completed with Ryder's flashback, happened. Nevertheless, it set a standard for RP here over the few months it commenced. Grimm, Ryder, Nicky, and all the other characters made their impact on players.

There was an IBO RP, Iron Blooded Order, starting near the end of ZD's lifespan. Unfortunately, it lost traction quickly due to its low player count.

In late 2019, Advent Destiny was in a state of disarray, with only the official Discord being used sporadically by former players. However, a savior of the site brought people back and even brought a few more. Replicator, known for his custom creations and a multitude of ideas, came forth with a brand new RP.

Gunpla Battle Nexus 1.8, a Build Divers RP, started in November of that year with 7 players. It had managed to complete 5 missions (2 done at the same time) in little over a year. While it had issues from time to time, I believe its the only reason this website is even still being used to this day. The adventures and Alpha and Beta Team brought a band of quirky characters together to create something magical.

GBN 1.8 received a large amount of spin offs. At first, I created 3 short stories in the world, but more slowly began to pop up. Fleurs De Noblesse, a campaign featuring myself, Roromi, and another returning player, Judge. At the time of writing this, Fleurs is on its 6TH MISSION, a record here and a game I'm proud to be apart of. Currently, it will continue.

As GBN 1.8 goes on hiatus soon, AD continues. I have started a 00 RP, 00 Redefine, one where OC's take over the roles of the Gundam Meisters and change history. An ORB RP by Roromi has also began, revolving around the Astray Mobile suits. I hope those continue onward and create much joy to the players and readers.

With what looks to be a return to our first RP here and possibly even more RPs, Advent Destiny isn't going anywhere. I have played with some of the best people (and a few really bad apples), but they've given me a chance to be apart of a niche I never expected to do. The quality of posts here is truly something to be proud of on the current internet.

I'd like to thank some people for joining me on this journey.

Roromi has always been super nice to me and is likely the reason I'm personally still playing. His love for RP means he'll always be ready to participate and have fun doing it.

Replicator, like I said, has created so many creations and given us tons of ideas because of his love for the franchise. Somethings have been crazy, but the crazy ideas are the best kinds and I wouldn't want Rep any other way.

Judge, who is quite recent for this revival, has proven himself to be a quality writer and a fun person to talk with. I'm glad he's playing on multiple RP's with us.

I'd also like to thank Acidic, Confectrixx, Shiroku, Toshiro, and of course, Valiant. We wouldn't be here without him.

We're a small group, but we've slowly continued to grow. Hopefully there's even more people in another two years.

These weekly reviews will have 3 segments, history,  (when it was released, albums it was featured in, official covers, etc.) discussion/overview of the song, (what was so special about the song, instruments, iconic points in it.) and rating/opinion (my personal rating and opinion. NOTE: just because I like the song does not mean you like it, so please do not leave hate comments about that.)

Todays review (which I will call S1E1 for the heck of it) will be about the hit classic “Money for nothing” by Dire straits, so let’s get into it.

History:

This song was the second track in the popular British rock band “Dire straits” on their fifth studio album “brothers in arms”, which was released in 1985 and the single was released in the same year on June 24. Its groundbreaking (for the time) music video was the first to be aired on MTV Europe when the network launched on the 1st of august, 1947. It was the bands most commercially  successful song and had made it to the first spot on the US’s “Billboard hot 100” and “Top rock charts” for 3 weeks each. (It had also reached number 4 for the band’s native UK). In the July 1985, the band performed the song at Live aid. (a MASSIVE musical charity service that aired across the world, it’s purpose was to raise funds to help stop the AIDs crisis that was happening at that time.) 

Overview:

The lyrics heard in “Money for nothing” are told from the perspective of two working-class men who are referring to the bands on MTV. These lyrics, according to Mark Knopfler, (the lead singer) are told word-to-word from a man he met while visiting a new york hardware store. The songs iconic opening guitar riff is easily recognizable amongst rock fans, but it’s iconic sound was originally made by mistake, the guitar being played was played through a amplifier and was accidentally captured by two nearby microphones that no processing, the guitarist (Mark Knopfler) has made numerous attempts to recreate the sound at a different studio but was unsuccessful.

Opinion/conclusion: 

I love this song, it’s the perfect mix of story telling and relatability combine into one beautiful song and the opening guitar riff really drives home my opinion on this being the most iconic song of its time. As for rating, I shall rate it a 10/10 for the same reasons.

Now I know some people here have more knowledge about this kind of stuff, so I do suggest adding any tidbits/missed information about the songs I review. And please note that I have NOT gone over the songs entire history, just a shortened version of it.

I'm not posting this to start drama, this isn't Twitter, but when me and others get treated a hostile way, it ruins the enjoyment for all of it in my opinion. I'm not a writer, but I really try to get better and better with each post. However, I don't care much anymore. There are days that I wish I had never advertised this site and allowed it to fade into obscurity. Maybe I'll change my mind, but changes in the structure of how this has worked over the year, which I find unlikely, would have to happen.

I have a bad habit of starting a book reading some of it then picking up another. As it stands right now I’m  midway through The Two Towers (Tolkien), and Jurassic Park The Lost World (Crichton). Also because audible rocks I’m listening to Day by Day Armageddon Beyond Exile (J.L. Bourne) it’s an awesome zombie series if anyone is into that!

Lovedol ~Lovely Idol~ - having supervision of Nishimata herself over the design of the characters this time (Shuffle! and Soul Link is total crap in terms of art) + Avex is a good enough reason. Have a storyline stronger than the other 2 mentioned animes

CODE GEASS - Lelouch of the Rebellion - Sunrise, meh. Hope there is inert amounts of mecha action, I heard the mecha designers did some good mechas (I forgot whether they included Gundams or not, but I remembered the designer did some recent designs) (SPECIAL EDIT: OK, I'm really watching this since one of the mecha designers did the uber-Itano Circus-filled Eureka7, and another of the designers is from BEE-CRAFT, which designed some of the Master Grade kits, 1/100 Legend, I-Justice, Gold Frame AMATU kits (and the upcoming 1/100 Saviour), the awesome half of Gundam SEED called Gundam SEED Astray, especially the OHGAWDAWESOME Gundam Astrays (ZOMG) like this and this, and recently ZOMGSTRIKENOIR Gundam SEED C.E. 73 Stargazer. Another one did designs for GitS, which from what I know is awesome). That is recent for sure, but now I don't like it

Gift ~eternal rainbow~ - bishoujo anime, my bro might be more interested, but the male lead is awesome for being different from the typical harem male lead

Yoake - same reason as above, he absolutely loves Feena >.>

Galaxy Angel-Rune - the promise of a storyline faithful to the Galaxy Angel II games/manga makes this an interesting watch, but I'm rather disappointed now

Bartender - 'God's Glass' sounds cheesy, hope it is something as badass as Akagi

Negima!? - might give this a shot

Otoboku - okama anime, somehow I got over the D.C.S.S.-ish character art (since I got used to D.C.S.S.). My bro is looking forward to this more than me, but after watching it I think it's insanely funny with the chibis

I did realize some flaws in the show though.  At one time Domon Snaps and yells "Rise Shinning Gundam" But then the Burning Gundam rises.
