He would make decisions based on multiple choices I would give him. As such, this wasn’t written in a traditional RP manner, but I felt the storylines needed to be compiled. Let us begin with…

CROSSING INTO WING

The Corsica Alliance Base, home to a mobile suit factory, wasn’t Reine Le Blanc’s first choice to be stationed at, but it at least kept her out of the front lines. This was a rarity in the Specials, but nepotism had its perks. Reine struggled to make friends in her division, opting to instead perform her tasks of guard duty over all else. In fact, as the days went on, it seemed she was having to guard high value Commanders within the Alliance. Recently, she was even able to catch a glimpse of the Lightning Count himself, but she wasn’t entirely sure of the reason for his arrival.

“All I see is a single unit!” Reine hears over the radio chatter. She can barely see the machine from her Leo, but she can tell it’s one of the Gundam mobile suits that have been attacking OZ soldiers across the planet. This red one has a heavy focus on artillery, firing at the closest Leos it can find while Aries scramble. Fear begins to take over as sweat drips onto the control sticks. Thankfully, her machine has a few options.

Knowing it’d be best to stay back, Reine fires upon the Heavyarms along with the other OZ soldiers. It starts to be a war of attrition as the Heavyarms continues to kill units, but the blimp is almost out of range.
IMG_6308.thumb.jpeg.9c69f3a4219f1d6850e82b4d3c364a8f.jpeg

It’s clear the Heavyarms has run out of ammo as it begins to slash toward the Leo and Aries machines, but it becomes worse for OZ as several brown and tan MS come from the rear with their very own Gundam! Out of ammo in her shoulder cannons, She has an option of attacking the Heavyarms while distracted, but their forces are being torn up by the reinforcements.

Reine runs to the squadron, but it’s clear they’re outmatched. One by one she watches as her squad mates are decimated until only a few are left. The Sandrock has the Maganac deal with any resistors while its pilot calls out for surrender. Reine grips her controls tightly, only to see her machine gun still has some ammo left. It’s a risk, but she could feign surrendering in order to get a clear shot at the Gundam’s cockpit. She’s a soldier first, but could she lose her life here?

Reine knows she could fake surrender to fire at the Gundam's cockpit. At point blank, not even that monster's armor could hold up... but she hears the voice of the Gundam's pilot. It's a child! She tries to do it, but by the time the white machine comes any close to her, she knows she can't bring herself to do it and drops the machine gun...

Some time has passed and Reine has been brought to an extravagant mansion. While she is unable to leave, Quatre did not lie. Her bedroom is lavish and while the climate is a bit humid to her liking, she is fed adequately. After a few days, she is led to what appeared to be Quatre’s office. The boy is playing the violin as she walks in, seeing a display of string and woodwinds in a cabinet next to him. Before she can even speak, Quatre turns and directs his hand toward the display. Clearly he wishes for Reine to join him in a duet, but does she know how?

IMG_6313.png.428682aaec2bd6d176014292cecdfe03.png
Reluctantly, Reine grabs a clarinet. She hasn't ever played one, but she is a decent saxophonist. Maybe she'll be able to get the hang of it anyways?

Noise comes out of the clarinet. Whether it’s majestic noise is debatable, but Quatre’s real reasoning behind the request was moreso about taking the initiative. The duet is passible. “Thank you for entertaining me in this request.” Quatre smiled as he placed his violin back in its case. “I hope you don’t mind that I did some research. It seems you’re not just a simple cog in OZ’s machine.” Quatre poured some Earl Grey for himself and Reine, who pretended she enjoyed it. “While I’m fine with you being here, some of the corps feel differently. I give you free rein to go where you please at our base, as long as you keep the peace.”

As she leaves his office, Reine wonders where she should visit before nightfall. The base is massive, so she’ll only be able to reach one spot.

Wishing to get a better look at their arsenal, Reine takes a trek down to the cave where their Mobile Suits are held. Inside, she sees dozens of Maganac with a single Gundam standing in the middle. The woman overhears a conversation from two corp members about working on the other Gundam called the Heavyarms from the attack. *“That was here?”* She thinks as a hand stops her from going forward. A scarred individual stands tall, scowling. “I don’t get what the Master sees in you.” He growls. “However, if he wants you to tour the area, I’ll follow his request. What would you like to know?”

IMG_6316.thumb.png.9f21155b52e0621a57fc3b219395dabc.png

Fascinated by the Sandrock’s beauty, she asks about the machine, receiving a neutral response from the scarred man, who Reine would later learn was named Abram. He explained the capabilities of the Gundam, mostly weaponry she had watched destroy countless Leos firsthand, but didn’t delve much further into it. “It’s our shining soldier leading the charge, isn’t it?” Another man who looked to be slightly older than Reine stepped into their conversation. “If only I could use it…” Abram frowned at the other Maganac member. “You never will Ernst. Be thankful we even saved you. You can deal with her now.” Abram walked away as Ernst shrugged.
“Don’t take it too personal.” He told Reine. “It’s not even the fact you’re a prisoner, they’re just not used to-“ Reine stared at the machine as he spoke. “Not used to some OZ soldier waltzing around the base, huh.” She responded. Ernst had a halfhearted look on his face. “Honestly, they’re not fond of a woman being here. Doesn’t bother me though.”

IMG_6315.thumb.png.136d254e2ee5bd66696c77373fe999ad.png

Over the next few days, Reine is tasked with helping out around the mansion. During this, she realizes that Ernst statement was only half true. While her being a woman wasn’t in issue, some weren’t fond of her being a woman on the same level as them, giving her more of the menial jobs. One day, she decided to visit with Quatre, only it seemed he had disappeared. Looking around the mansion, all she saw was Rashid, the Maganac Corps’ Captain, running toward her. “Grab her!” He calls out. She has to make a quick reaction.

Fearing her life is in danger, she bolts in the other direction as she hears footsteps from soldiers. Knowing her only shot at escape would be at the garage, she runs down the stairs only for her arm to be grabbed by Ernst. “Don’t worry.” He says as Reine’s squirming stops. “It wasn’t her guys, Quatre left on his own.” Rashid comes down the stairs with a pistol in hand, but holsters it. “How would you know? Master Quatre’s life could be in danger.” Suddenly, Abram bursts through one of the doors, holding a handwritten note. “Because he left this.” Handing the note to Rashid, he reads it quickly, not telling the Corps who had all gathered because of the noise about its content. “That boy…” he mutters, placing the note in his pocket. “To think he wouldn’t tell us.” He then points at Reine. “You were briefly mentioned. Abram… please get a Maganac ready for our guest.”
“WHAT?!” The Corps all yelled in unison.

The Maganac feels wonderful to Reine when she trains, as if the restrictiveness the Leo could have was just gone. Slowly, the Corps began to lighten up around her and while there was still some resistance toward her, it was almost as if she wasn’t a prisoner at all. However, her only real friend was Ernst. She wondered how he ended up with the crew, but opted not to ask just yet. Thankfully, all eyes were taken off her once Quatre had returned. While they already knew of OZ’s declaration of war against the colonies, the boy was able to give official confirmation there are 5 Gundams. Reine wondered how her father was handling all these changes in the political landscape, but couldn’t ponder for long as it was decided the Corps would be traveling to Siberia and she was coming along. *”Will I have to fight OZ?”* She wondered as a queasy feeling was felt in her stomach. *”What has happened to my life?”*

Her nervousness began to take over as Quatre led his troops into the cold region of Siberia. She wasn’t even truly aware of her mission, only that they were “land” support. Suddenly, Leos and Aries began over hills and from the sky, firing upon the squadron as Reine notices the Heavyarms jumping out of a transport ship. “I’m going in!” Ernst states, sending his axe deep into an unsuspecting Leo. As she looks around, she knows she’ll have to fire, but maybe she wasn’t the best shot…

IMG_6325.thumb.jpeg.d5b44d7e9672079205f14c753d9ca41b.jpeg

Reine knows she can’t fire at these people. He positions herself near the back of the group, firing acutely as to not make a scene. Ernst isn’t stupid though. “You better take ‘em out!” He utters, placing his hand on her Maganac’s shoulder. “They have no idea who you are!” As he leaves, an Aries blasts by, firing upon Reine. She tries to dodge as the machine gets closer, but she has no choice. Beams hit the sides of the black flyer, causing it to spin out and crash. She gasps in fear, but watches as the pilot opens the cockpit door, unharmed. *“Wait, it’s like Quatre has said.”* She thinks about his devotion to pacifism and knows that she can fire on these machines as long as she tries not to kill.“The train!” Quatre calls out, watching the speeding locomotive speed by. Reine goes to assist, but Abram feels otherwise, saying she needs to stick with the group.

> Reine heads for the train with Quatre, hoping to stop with without bloodshed. Unfortunately, an Aries platoon feels different, firing upon the two as Quatre gets in front of her, taking the shots. “Thank you for assisting, Reine.” He states while sending a Heat Shotel into one of the train cars’ connections. “Take care of the back half.”

Reine is able to nudge the second half of the train off track, sending it into the dirt as Quatre takes care of Leos inside. Abram gives a stern talk as she returns to her squad, knowing she broke rank, but it was worth it to help out the boy.

As the fight continues, she sees a strange black Gundam with a farming tool as their weapon, but what catches her eye is the transforming Gundam dueling with what appears to be some sort of white Leo. “Looks like OZ has some new MS on the production line.” She mutters as she hits a Leo in the head with her axe. The battle turns in OZ’s tide though as a female voice threatens to blow up the colonies if they don’t surrender. “What! OZ would never kill civilians!” Reine states to herself, trying to process the situation. Fortunately she doesn’t have to worry for long as what appears to be the Gundam’s leader accepts surrender, but not of the Gundams.

Within seconds of that statement, one of the Gundams explodes right in front of Reine’s eyes! “It can just… self destruct in an instant…” The idea of this sheer invincibility of these high value mobile suits has been broken for Reine, understanding they could be gone in an instant. Using this opportunity, the remaining Gundams instead began to retreat along with the Maganacs. She began moving her MS with them, but froze for a second. This could be her one chance to go back to OZ. After all, she did miss Father and could easily get a slap on the wrist if she bluffed her story well. The Maganac’s head turned, but then she thought of Quatre and the hospitality he gave her. She could tell the boy was hurt by the deaths of the soldiers and that Gundam pilot and would need some big sister guidance. What will she do?

Again, Reine's torn between what she knows she should do, and what she knows can't be done. She can't give up on the Alliance, but she can't give up on Quatre either. "Aaaagh! Why can't everyone be friends anymore?!" Regretfully, she heads back with the Maganacs and uses her thrusters to catch up to them.

The Maganac corp are able to reconvene at a makeshift base. In fact, one of the other Gundams has also decided to join up with the team. Reine lowers from her mobile suit, seeing the scratches and scars on the machine. She’d now seen war on both sides.
With some time to chat before they packed up, Reine wondered if she should speak with Quatre. She didn’t know if she’d be bothering him though as he probably had a lot on his plate. Maybe she could get to know the other Gundam pilot, who seemed to be a young priest.

IMG_6334.thumb.jpeg.851aef1f91c12ac0e4d458c143fc1253.jpeg

Reine speaks with the priest, who seems odd to her. His nonchalant manner of conversation really hits home how strange it is that children are piloting the destructive machines. “If you’re gonna be friendly, I might as well tell you a bit about Deathscythe.” The pilot, who Reine has learned is named Duo, speaks about the black Gundam’s arsenal. The fact it can turn invisible really takes her by surprise. Time passes by quick as Reine is asked to return to her Maganac and pack up.

Staying out of the sandstorm, The Maganac Corps make it to a hidden base filled with extra machines, including what looks to be a hovering version of the Maganac. Reine is thankful to the nation as Quatre explains who she is to their leader. “A friend of Quatre is a friend of mine!” He says while leading the group to the festival. Reine’s smile widens as she sees the partygoers dancing and eating. This would be the first time in a while that Reine would truly be able to enjoy herself. She has free rein being left on her own as Quatre and Duo go to discuss something privately.

Reine goes to the array of fruits presented, trying a few as she people watches. There is pure happiness here, not taken away by the wars outside of their borders. A few of the women even come up to Reine, praising her as a pilot and proving herself to the all men Corps.

As the festivities wind out, Reine and the rest are skirted away as trucks arrive. Reine peeks through one of the slits in the building they’ve been put in to find OZ soldiers speaking with the town’s leader. In the corner of her eye, she sees some wooden crates being hidden between buildings. “What?” She whispers while the soldiers leave. Once the coast is clear, the Corps check the crates to find bombs inside. “No… they wouldn’t-“ Ernst stops her from speaking further. “Shouldn’t this be obvious, Reine? This is why we fight against the Alliance. They’re nothing but snakes.” Knowing they can’t defuse the bombs, everyone is brought underground. Reine hopes the explosives were a bluff, but once nightfall comes, as is proven false as the cave rattles from families buildings being destroyed. “The time is now. Everyone suit up!” Rashid calls out as the pilots scatter. Reine is about to get in her Maganac, only to overhear talk of the Olifant, the hovering MS, squadron being down a few pilots. While she’s used to her Maganac, should she help them instead?

“I volunteer!”
The Olifants slide out into the battlefield, firing upon Tragos has the village continues to be pelted on. “Stop it!” She yells, gliding across the sand to hit an OZ truck. The machine feels nice, thankful she doesn’t have to maneuver feet through the coarse sand. Its armament reminds her a bit of the Leo she once had, sending machine gun fire and beam cannons at the enemies. “Reine!” Abram through the comms states that help is needed in defending a stolen OZ transport plane the Gundams are being loaded on. Speeding across town, she notices a single Maganac being pelted by enemy reinforcements. It’s Ernst. “Hold on Ernst, I’m coming!” The Olifant watches as the Maganac places its palm out. “No, go to the plane, I’ll be fine!”
IMG_6341.png.f0d31edbfbb343eacd4c4c09dd04ed8d.png

Ignoring Ernst’s plea, she rushes in to help him, taking out a few of the Tragos pestering him. As the rest fall back, Ernst is thankful, but sighs as the transport appears to be damaged. “That was our mission, Reine. Those Gundams are gonna change the world, not the little guys like us.” Reine pulls the damaged Maganac up. “No, every life should be cherished. I couldn’t just watch you die.” She looks up to the sky to see the transport barely make it airborne. “See? They didn’t even need-AH!”
Tragos cut off their route back to the Corps as they are pelted by shots. The Olifant’s legs are blown off as one of the OZ machines rams into the Maganac. “Re-“ Ernst’s radio cuts out as a blast thrusts Reine’s cockpit door open, tossing her into the sand. It coats her as she fades in and out of consciousness. Faint glimpses of the Corps being overwhelmed are the last thoughts in her head as her head drops into the sand dunes.

Buildverse Gunpla Battle!https://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/6676-buildverse-gunpla-battle/ Please set your GP Base...

The Roleplay will take place a couple years after the events of Build Fighters Try (ten years after Build Fighters). Gunpla Battle is as popular as it ever was. Japan becomes a nexus for any serious competitors as its often the forefront for any new updates or expansions to Gunpla Battle. New advances in Gunpla Battle include scenario or AI controlled mock battles; where participants can try their hand at certain circumstances for increased battle points. While a popular alternative to normal battles, participants still face the same challenge of preserving their Gunpla’s durability in such matches. Many schools have active Gunpla clubs that participants in all sorts of battles. Another new feature that has helped foster the sport is the ability to stream battles over vast distances, allowing gunpla battle across the world, with the damage being transmitted via Plavsky particles.

Kantai Academy is on the outskirts of Tokyo, easily accessible to both the countryside and the hustle of the city. There have been Gunpla clubs in the past at Kantai but it's always fluctuated in activity. So, while the bonework is there for the club, there is currently no active Gunpla club there currently. Kantai’s biggest school rival is Anno Higher Learning. They are just a few blocks across town but boast an active, if not notorious, Gunpla Club with a few trophies to their name. Locally there are several hobby shops as well, namely: Peacemillion Surplus, Lowe’s High Variety, and Gunpla Plus.

Peacemillion Surplus is a Mom and Pop shop with a rich local history within the community, having evolved from a humble hobby store to what it is now. Next door is a famous ramen shop and a mini mart.

Lowe's High Variety has more of an online presence, and it run by a notorious otaku who founded the shop many years prior (though not as historic as Peacemillion). Above Lowe's shop is his own studio apartment. The store is flanked by a mini-mart and more apartments.

Gunpla Plus is a chain store that is the newest within the community and has an active network at its disposal. This store is closest to Anno Higher Learning and is next to an appliance store as well as an arcade.

Ideas I had for 00 Redefinehttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/4101-ideas-i-had-for-00-redefine/ Gundam 00 Redefine:

Here are some ideas I had for the RP.

I would’ve likely attempted to finish the entire storyline over the course of “one season”. There wouldn’t have been a five year time skip, but it was possible that the storyline could’ve gone long enough for an in game year or longer.

While these were ideas in my head, all of these could’ve changed because of player involvement. Each of the Gundams would’ve continued to be upgraded per player suggestions.

Edmund was going to be revealed to be Emilio, Sumeragi’s former lover. Tons of character development would’ve been done with them. Albus’ relationships would’ve likely risen with Kinue, Christina, even Chall, etc. A ton of sorry would’ve been up to Judge. Feldt I never had to much of a plan for other than either lightening up or dying at some point.

I did have the idea of Multi ending up being Lyle Dylandy, but I found that too coincidental later, so I changed it to just some rando. Same with Allelujah, who was canonically some deviant in the HRL right before CB found him. He could’ve ran into our team at some point during the story.

Setsuna was killed as a child by Ribbons. That’s the lynch pin in the timeline change. Neil Dylandy on the other hand would’ve been on the AEU piloting a custom Enact. It actually would’ve been yellow, since green was already the original AEU colors.

Not much differences with Graham. Albus’ rival. Would’ve upgraded his flag constantly. His Wingmen probably would’ve died quick. Maybe those Brave pilots in A Wakening might’ve shown up?

Andrei Smirnov would’ve joined the HRL at some point. Would not have gone well for him lol. Soma would’ve been apart of a super soldier team, since that facility would’ve never been found by CB. Their Tieren’s would’ve also been colored and named their fruit names in Chinese.

At max, MS development would’ve only gone as far as the GNX II. I REALLY wanted to use those GM’s Toshiro drew. The would’ve likely been piloted by Eco, Lichty, and Lasse. Maybe others could be piloted by Haros. I didn’t get far enough to know what to do with the other Fereshte crew assimilated in CB.

I wanted to do more with Michael and Johann in Team Trinity, but didn’t know what. Throne Vier would’ve canon in some way. Alejandro would’ve been betrayed by Ribbons in some way and the Innovates would’ve struck early.

Rai, Tieria, etc would’ve piloted special Thrones while most Innovates would’ve had Throne MP types. The final boss would’ve been Ribbons in a upgraded Throne Varanus. CB and the three world groups (HRL probably would’ve been strongest) would band together to fight them. A multitude of endings could’ve been decided by player involvement.

I think that’s everything. While I would’ve liked to RP these things, I lost interest and it wasn’t meant to be. I’m glad I at least got to play part of it. 00 is one of my favorite Gundam stories and it was cool to do our own interpretation.

As a bonus, this was Super Soldier Rosk Alliate. He would’ve piloted the Tieren Pingguo, a red version.

SOUNDWAVE - A mysterious giant box that’s origin and true purpose in unknown. It seems to be aligned with the Decepticons. It’s primary function seems to be creation, being able to make armies of different drones.

Frenzies - Red drones serving as the standard bulk of SOUNDWAVE’s army.

Rumbles - Blue drones capable of serving different functions with its arms, such as battering Rams.

Hathaway: Flash of Rebellionhttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/2326-hathaway-flash-of-rebellion/ Hathaway: Flash of Resistance

Universal Century 0105, it has been twelve years since the failures of the Second Neo Zeon War. The Federation reigns unopposed, with Zeon under heavy scrutiny from their former foe. Corruption runs rampant throughout the higher echelon of the Federation. “Man Hunter” has been created as a special unit meant to deport undesirables from the earth and send them into space.

Amongst the corruption, tensions have hit a boiling point on the earth. One name above all others stands out in opposition of the Federation: Mafty. In many respects Mafty has grown beyond its’ namesake and into a calling card for all opposition, with many terrorists taking up the mysterious mantle as their own.

The hijacking of a Federation shuttle with many bureaucrats has ignited the powder keg on earth and fighting has erupted in the northern Australian region of Oenbelli. Mafty’s first army (a group associated in namesake alone) wages a dangerous guerrilla campaign against the occupying Federal forces. In response the Federation dispatched ten Gustav Karl mobile suits to the region to put a swift end to the resistance. The fighting is brutal, throughout the bloodshed heroes rise on both sides of the conflict.

-----

Just throwing this out there to see if anyone is interested in doing a Hathaway RP? The story would start with the conflict going on at Oenbelli and would take place concurrent with the movie. From there it would diverge however we wanted to take things! I think it would be cool to see characters on both sides! If you're interested let me know and I'll start making a list. I'll probably cook up a character myself soon too.

[Star Wars] Shadows of the Forcehttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/2290-star-wars-shadows-of-the-force/ Shadows of the Force

Shadows of the Force will be a Star Wars RP set in the aftermath of Order 66, during the Rise of the Empire. Lieutenant Voide and the members of Zeta Squad will be pursing Jedi relics for the Emperor, specifically for an item simply known as the Templar’s Scepter. In their pursuit they will be sure to run into many other individuals, some may choose to help, other’s may choose to oppose them, they may even get completely side tracked by unexpected events!

I invite anyone interested to let me know! You will need a character that matches the era. I plan on running things quickly, so I’ll maintain a 3 day posting rule (if you don’t post within 3 days then the next person will go). Please use 3rd person and be considerate of the environment and other peoples characters.

What secrets will Zeta Team uncover? What purpose does the Emperor have in choosing Voide to pursue this artifact? What actions will our characters take during this critical time of the galaxy? What will you discover in the Shadows of the Force?

Cast of Imperials

Zeta Team – Clone Commando Unit

CT-0079 “Munnin” – Leader of Zeta Squad. He can be ruthlessly defensive of his brothers and is stubbornly loyal to his superiors, Imperials or not.

CT-8282 “Knives” – The dedicated slicer for Zeta team. He has an affiliation for using vibroblades as well as close combat. He boasts at being the best at melee combat out of the entire team.

CT-0195 “Dorlin” – An explosives enthusiast, he usually handles most demolition jobs that the team has to face. He’s more stoic and serious than the rest of his brothers.

CT-1516 “Sennar” – The self appointed sniper of Zeta team. He’s a blaster enthusiast and often collects and uses alien firearms from missions. He is often seen as the most laid back of his teammates.

Imperials Officers

Quintin Voide – An Echani ISB office tasked with republic clean up operations. Voide is the definition of a ruthless Imperial agent. He served diligently during the clone wars as a Republic Officer and was drafted into the fledging Imperial Security Bureau to help solidify the Empire’s expanding power. As such, his first mission is to process some of the miscellaneous leads from the Jedi Order. He took a keen interest in Jedi artifacts and was given special leadership of Zeta Squad to track down any loose ends, Jedi or otherwise. His current assignment has him following up with rumors of an ancient artifact called the “Templar’s Scepter”. The information regarding a lead for the Scepter now points Zeta team to the dark underbelly of the Imperial Center: 1313.

Transformers Break Discussionhttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/2244-transformers-break-discussion/ Transformers Break

War has plagued the planet of Cybertron for many cycles. Two factions, adamant for control of the planet, have caused both parties to lose half of their respective populations. Due to this, the Autobots and Decepticons are currently at a stalemate as they try to regroup.

Knowing that the Deception’s new leader Megatron is much more bloodthirsty than his predecessor, Sentinel Prime has tasked a small group of volunteer Autobots to find a planet rich with Energon, the Transformer’s energy. Knowing fully well they might not return, they chose to be apart of a last ditch attempt at winning the war.

Taking a transport ship named HOPE, these Autobots will become apart of something much greater…

Welcome to Transformers Break, a new universe with familiar and unfamiliar elements. This RP will require committing to posting and to speak with me before you create a character. However, it’ll be a more relaxed RP with leeway for the players to give new ideas and build up this world. Please don’t be afraid to ask questions. Just remember that HOPE will be leaving soon!

Mobile Suit Gundam 00V Redefinehttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/2051-mobile-suit-gundam-00v-redefine/ During the course of this RP, I will assume new variations will be created. This will be the home of them and will likely be updated many times.

Hellion Pantera

AEU_Hellion_Mendoza_Cartel.png.97abffc70a47d2487773d9d4118b2bfd.png

One of the earliest models of the AEU Mobile Suit Hellion, this Hellion Initium was used by the Mendoza Cartel's enforcers to establish their hegemony over the Taribian drug trade. It was most likely acquired as surplus as part of an illegal trade between officers of the Taribian military and cartel representatives. While the Mendoza Cartel gave way to rumors that the Pantera's performance even surpassed that of the Hellion Perpetuum, it's far more likely that its only upgrade is the bold livery it uses to intimidate enemies.

(First Appearance in Episode 3)

Pokémon: Mobile Trainers Discussionhttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/2142-pok%C3%A9mon-mobile-trainers-discussion/ Pokémon: Mobile Trainers

Within the region of Johto, people and Pokémon have lived in harmony for many years. As the two groups have united, Pokémon trainers have made names for themselves with the partners they use. Will you become a household name? This story will allow players to follow their own path to greatness, not just by participating in the Pokémon League, but through other means as well. As a new world combining elements of both the anime and games, this will be a refreshing take on the genre. Included will also be twists and turns pertaining to the mecha genre, keeping in line with the website. This will be an experiment that will hopefully grow as time goes on.

Gunpla Battle Nexus 1.8 | OOChttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1680-gunpla-battle-nexus-18-ooc/ Year 20XX. People around the world have taken to building and customizing their very own Gunpla (Gundam Plastic Models) as the world's #1 hobby. In Gunpla Battle Nexus Online, a Virtual Reality MMORPG which is often touted as ''the next-generation hobby attraction'', users from all around the world turn into Mobile Suit pilots (also known as Divers) by scanning their Gunpla and uploading their data to the game, allowing them to pilot their dream machine.

As if the content added by the game's administrators wasn't enough, they notice a wealth of very well made custom campaigns, individual missions and machines, made by experienced Divers with a knack for making their own original content. To acknowledge the newly formed modding community, they prepare Update 1.8, also known as the Community Update, where popular stages and campaigns can be submitted for the administrators' Endorsement, bestowing upon them the ability of giving clear rewards to the Divers who complete them, and where popular Gunpla builds can now be encountered as rare NPDs (Non-Player Divers), with either the personality of their Creator, or that of an existing Gundam character...

However, despite being nearly complete, Update 1.8 hasn't been actually released to the public, and is now on one of the final stages: playtesting and polishing. This is the story of a group of beta testers from all over the country, which team up to tackle one of the most ambitious campaigns bundled with the update...

To help everyone understand the machines each other made, and to establish what they can and cannot do, players MUST reply to this post with their own sheet to play. One sheet will be made per machine. For making sheets for new machines or upgrades to previous Gunpla, edit your original post and add the new sheet under that of your previous machine.

IMPORTANT: Players can give their Gunpla a secret system of any kind, but they must add "REDACTED" in all-caps under "Special Abilities/Features", and run their idea by the Game Master for approval.

[Diver]'s Gunpla Collection

#1 - [Unit Name]

Base Unit:

Operator (Diver Name):

Detail the parts and modifications used by your mech by the following sections. Please remember that each perk will have a draw back for each bonus it offers. The examples given are merely examples and anything not listed may be added so long as it can be rationalized. If another player has already added a non-listed element you want to use, try to use that same rationalization for said element rather than making your own.

Structural Defense: i.e

Phase Shift Armor - exceptional resistance to physical damage, at the cost of power consumption per hit.

Gundanium Alloy - well balanced endurance, at the cost of weighing down the unit.

Nano Filament/Anti-Beam Coating - exceptional resistance to beam weaponry at the cost of being frail to physical damage.

Conventional Materials - offers lighter armor weight for greater mobility, with no added benefit.

Special System: i.e.

ZERO System - offers exceptional target acquisition at the cost of zoning out the rest of the battlefield.

Funnel System - offers a devastating attack system at the cost of being burdensome.

Trans-Am - offers exceptional mobility at the cost of high power consumption.

Melee Weapons: i.e.

Beam Saber - standard mobile suit weapon, offers exceptional cutting power at the cost of power consumption; small enough for multiple housings on the unit.

Anti-Ship Sword/GN Sword - a cumbersome and slow weapon with exceptional cutting power, likely only one on the unit.

Heat Rod - a whip-type weapon that heats up to deal damage, likely only one on the unit. Greater reach than most melee weapons, bordering on ranged, but less precise and damaging than heat sabers and hawks.

Projectile Weapons: i.e.

Beam Rifle - Can deal high energy damage at the cost of power consumption and rate of fire.

Machine Gun - can deal physical damage with limited ammo capacity but high rate of fire.

Bazooka - can deal high damage at the expense of very limited ammo.

Buster Rifle - high energy weapon with high power draw and limited shots; can deal massive damage.

Shield: i.e.

Physical Shield - reliable and heavy.

Energy Shield - light weight but draws energy to function.

Missile Shield - weaponised shield with limited ammunition and low protective value.

Power System: i.e.

Battery Pack - offers a light weight power solution for greater mobility but limited supply.

Nuclear Plant - offers unparalleled power at the cost of expense and environmental danger if damaged.

Solar Furnace - offers exceptional energy and propulsion (including Trans-Am) at the cost of being proprietary (limits backpack options) and expensive.

Special Abilities/Features: i.e. transformable, SD, secret, etc.

Orb Roleplayhttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/2015-orb-roleplay/ For the Homeland

This will be an Orb centric roleplay that takes an alternate look at the events of Heliopolis, and how that cascades into the politics of the Orb Union on earth. I’m hoping that this will be as much intrigue as it is battles. Although this is going to be Orb focused; by all means feel free to explore characters from other factions so long as it ties in.

The Story So Far...

This takes place around the beginning of Gundam Seed. Things start out similarly except this time there is an Orb commando team there to take advantage of the deteriorating situation. ZAFT still steals the Aegis, Duel, Buster, and Blitz. However Orb obtains the Archangel, the Strike, and secures all the Astrays that were kept in storage there.

It’s during that chaos that our characters begins to appear, namely Nathaniel, Geneva, and Roane. Nathaniel and Geneva use Gold and Blue frames respectively to fight of the second wave of ZAFT mobile suits but the results are similar to the show with Miguel getting killed, and Heliopolis getting destroyed.
From this point Nathaniel is able to negotiate a cease fire with the ZAFT forces there and they go their separate ways.
On their return home the Orb special forces who stole everything are met with contempt and it flairs up the politics with the Orb council decided to blame Uzumi Atha and looking to elect new leadership. There are politicians who would side with either the earth or ZAFT forces respectively; while others seek ulterior motives (Namely Lord Rondo Sahaku).

A special forces team is organized from various Orb citizens/soldiers and designated as Chromatic Team. To solidify their possession of their own military hardware, the Archangel was sent out to a training island to make reform tests on the Astrays and further develop their natural Operating System. Unbeknownst to Chromatic team Lord Sieran attempted to sell out the captured units to the Earth Alliance to gain favor.
The Astray units fought off the Alliance forces with relative success. They returned home for some leave time during which the Orb leadership underwent a election. The board elected Lord Sahaku as the new chairman for the Orb Union. Lord Sieran was unwilling to accept those results and organized a coup with test pilots loyal to him. It was revealed that he controlled the M1 Astrays and used those units for an insurrection.
currently Chromatic Team is fighting for their lives quelling the rebellion while fending off ambitious ZAFT forces trying to inflict damage on the Homeland.

Please note that initially there will be limited access to mobile suits:

Gold Frame (Nathaniel) - Damaged

Blue Frame (Geneva) - Destroyed, pilot MIA

Red Frame (Roane) - Damaged likely out of action

Strike Gundam - Modified currently used by Lord Sahaku

Green Frame (Kieran)

Mirage Frame (Kalika)

Further on the M1 Astrays will become available as well! Depending on circumstances it could be possible to obtain other mobile suits from other factions too!

List of all Roleplays on the board.https://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/2012-list-of-all-roleplays-on-the-board/ Hello everyone! This is a list, brief description, and status of all roleplays on the board.
Hopefully this will give all prospective players an idea of what’s available on the boards at this time.

Iron Blooded Order – looking to reboot, seeking players to restart (see myself)

This happens in the Iron Blooded Orphans universe, happening in the timeline between seasons 1 & 2 of the show. Unlike the show there is no main characters in this iteration, and there is no Tekkaden. Instead factions have been simmering to the point of becoming a powder keg, with many factions vying to take the other out.  Will your character work for stability? Or ignite the flames of war?

For the Homeland - Active, Open to non-Orb Characters/ Faction leaders (see myself)

This is a Gundam Seed Orb centric roleplay, that takes an alternate look at the events of Heliopolis and how that cascades into the politics of the Orb Union on earth. Players will delve into the politics and intrigue of Orb while trying to preserve the Homeland from all threats foreign and domestic. How will ZAFT and the Earth Alliance handle an unstable Orb Union?

GBN 1.8 - Hiatus - Open for self started adventures (contact myself if you intend to impact the greater world/story)

This is based on the Gundam Build Divers show. In this story the battle network is beta testing a 1.8 update which sees our characters diving into the virtual world to explore this lifelike environment with their custom Gunpla.

Fleurs de Noblese (GBN side story) – Hiatus, at player capacity

Three divers become unlikely allies, creating a player force that defies the odds. Will their individual pasts drive them apart? Or can this trio come together to shake the very foundation of GBN?

Gundam OO redefine - Hiatus, at player capacity

This is a fresh take on OO Gundam, where the Meister have been replaced with completely different characters. Will they succeed? Or will Aeolia’s plan be derailed from what we know should happen?

Zeta Destiny - Active, (see Valiant)

This takes place immediately after the events of Zeta Gundam, but with many of the known characters falling during the Gryps conflict. Player characters scramble to recover from the devastation of the previous war and work to bring their factions  to prominence.

To make a storyline to play please send me a similar description to what is written above and create an OOC topic so I can link the two together.  We are always looking for talented storytellers to take the lead!

The year is 2307 AD. With the depletion of fossil fuels, the world now relies on solar power systems ran by three world powers: the Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations, the Advanced European Union, and the Human Reform League. Minor countries have fallen into chaos, resulting in a world of war and suffering. A paramilitary group, called Celestial Being, has appeared in response to this new reality. They intend to end all wars by fighting themselves.

However, this is where the world of Gundam 00 changes. Veda has selected different candidates to be their four Gundam Meisters, sending this world into a completely different direction. The decisions these new characters will make may give Celestial Being the world they envisioned, or they make create a nightmare that sends humanity down a path of no return…

Cosmic Era RP planninghttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1482-cosmic-era-rp-planning/ We have enough players interested in this RP.

Here's the roster based on feedback from the interest check thread:

  1. Valiant
  2. @Janus
  3. @Kino
  4. @Roromi
  5. @BrightBlurr
  6. @Natalie
  7. @Acidic

Timeline

First thing we need to decide on is the timeline of the RP. While I personally prefer to do post-SEED and pre-Destiny, Janus reminded me that the old RP was set 10 years post Destiny. She'll be assisting me as Narrator and she'll post her notes once she gets them organised.

Post-Destiny
The advantage of being set some time away from the canon story is that we remove the canon characters from the picture. The disadvantage is that some players feel a little disjointed, and it is a little harder to explain the lack of tech advancements if we simply use or upgrade tech from Destiny. The easier way is to reduce the 10-year gap through retconning major RP events.

Post-SEED, pre-Destiny
This scenario disregards the events of Destiny and allows us to avoid the catastrophes that happened. The advantage, in my opinion, is that we have Destiny tech as reference or even direct upgrade as we go along the RP. It might be more familiar territory for players, but players might also be influenced by Destiny canon. There's nothing good or bad about that, it's all a matter of personal preference.

Thoughts
I'm keen to hear what those of you who signed up feel about the timeline. Since almost all of us were from the old RP, the post-Destiny route might be more appealing since that's the easiest way to continue where we left off. Perhaps we can shave off a few years to bring it closer to the end of Destiny to start with where the factions were recovering from the Second Bloody Valentine War.

Iron Blooded Order Roleplayhttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1589-iron-blooded-order-roleplay/ Hello all!

I am going to start an Iron Blooded Orphans roleplay. This topic will be for both  discussion and announcements. I’ll be taking the lead for this one so let me know if you have any questions! I’m also open to all feedback!

Iron Blooded Order

It is the year 325 "Post Disaster", set more than 300 years after a great war between Earth and Outer colonies known as the "Calamity War", Mars has been successfully terraformed and colonized by humans. However, even with the technological advancements, the humans on Mars, Jupiter, and artificial  colonies crave freedom against the government of Earth and seek to improve their livelihoods. Furthermore, while most of colony nations have received autonomy, the colonies are virtually dependent on Earth for economic development with many living in impoverished conditions.

Even though Earth enjoys the fruits of the colonies’ labors there is growing strife within Gjallarhorn, the Earth's ruling body. Noble families plot against each other for greater esteem on the ruling council. Differences in philosophy among the families have led to growing uneasiness. Some families vow for greater colony independence while others vouch for greater military presence to control the colonies.

Things to consider

This is like a reboot of IBO

  • The setting is a couple years after IBO would take place but none of the characters from the series are here.

Remember the technology

  • Alayna-Vijnana system is a double edged sword. It is shunned by gjallarhorn. Although it increases performance it does negatively affect the body if used excessively and is usually implanted at a younger age at high risk.

  • Nano filament armor negates beam weaponry so hard melee weapons and guns are used.

  • Ahab reactors each have a unique signature and are used to identify units. They also mess up certain electronics and are typically kept out of urban areas.

Interest in a retcon-ed reboot of AD?https://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1479-interest-in-a-retcon-ed-reboot-of-ad/ So I have files I'd saved up over the years on AD that spans from character profiles (not just my own) to the timeline up to CE84 for all factions. The latter is something that covers a good amount of the overarching content that was worked upon by the combined efforts of the late remaining team of Narrators.

I'll list the files I have up a bit later, but I was wondering if anyone was remotely interested in continuing roughly where we left off with some chunks being retcon-ed in or out.

So anyone?

0096 ECHOES OF ZETA | Discussionhttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1600-0096-echoes-of-zeta-discussion/ 1f430275fbcfcd245397697473d6efe62368ca91.thumb.png.bef5633df37255180d8486fcba190af4.png

---

Universal Century 0096. The power balance between Earth and Space shifts once more in the wake of the discovery of Laplace’s Box and the revelation of the Full-Body Psycoframe RX-0. However, within the murky depths of the past, hidden by blood and debris of battles long ended, another machine with the capability to change the world lurks…

0096 ECHOES OF ZETA is an alternate telling of the events surrounding the Laplace Incident. Players will take part in a secret operation by both the Sleeves and Londo Bell to recover or destroy a lost Full-Body Psycoframe mobile suit developed by Titans remnants, hidden within the Side 5 Shoal Zone. Players will partake in either of the two forces: The Sleeves' Gray Phantoms Team and Londo Bell's MaHA (Man-Hunter Attachment).

Character Creation Tips:

1. 0096 ECHOES OF ZETA is heavily reliant on the canon events of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and subsequent entries in the Universal Century timeline. Players are encouraged to explore how the events of these entries have affected the lives of their characters.

2. As the Gray Phantoms Team and the Man-Hunter Attachment are to be considered elite black-ops units within their respective forces, players are permitted, and encouraged to utilize whatever Universal Century mobile suit they wish, with the exception of any one-of-a-kind units such as the canon Gundams, or units that were shown to be destroyed. However, if you are capable of coming up with a justification for having such a unit, then exceptions will be made.

Cast:

Man-Hunter Attachment:

Gray Phantoms Team:

Race to the Rosehttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1561-race-to-the-rose/ All OOC chatter should be posted here.

Reminder that the Firefly is a transport ship with no catapult. I was halfway through writing about launching when I realised that myself.

We might need to start a turn sequence once things get up to speed.

Tenseshttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1531-tenses/ I'm rather surprised that I have to make this post but it's better to do so now than rip my hair out later on once the RP kicks off.

We are describing a past or fictional event in third person, so we should be writing in past tense. We are still warming up with the character profiles so I will turn a blind eye to that, even though it is still a painful read, especially where there is a mix of *cringe* present and past tense.

I hope we don't have to address this again during the RP.

I'm still looking through the character profiles. Do help each other to improve the profiles, especially for the members who are new to RPing. Veterans please go and lend a hand.

Universal Century RP planninghttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1483-universal-century-rp-planning/ We are still a little short of the minimum number of players but let's kick start the discussions. With something concrete, we might be able to attract more players to join in.

Here's the roster based on the interest check thread:

  1. Valiant

Timeline

We have a rather large range of times to choose from. I will use the standard Gundam Canon as the reference for what's the canon timeline we are looking at. We can set the RP between or during these following conflicts. I have added my comments regarding the times.

  • Pre-OYW - primitive mecha, but there's the Zeon rise and internal conflict
  • One Year War - Federation vs Zeon; In-fighting between the Zabis
  • Post-OYW - Gryps Conflict, Titans vs AEUG vs Zeon remnants vs Axis Zeon <-- this throws the conflict wide open, especially if Axis comes in earlier.
  • First Neo Zeon War - AEUG vs Axis Zeon
  • Between the Neo Zeon Wars - we can remove Char and have Neo Zeon regroup under a different leader, perhaps one that isn't bent on causing nuclear winter, but what fun is there?
  • Second Neo Zeon War - Londo Bell vs Neo Zeon <-- given that this conflict is also known as Char's Rebellion, it's hard to cover this without him as a central figure.
  • LaPlace Incident - Mecha is too advanced and I would prefer not to do this.

Alternatively, instead of starting from a point in time and then overwriting the events that happened after, we can do side stories that go along with the main timelines. Doing so would open up a lot of opportunities to go parallel with the events, with canon events acting as progression points we can move along. Thoughts?

Maybe we can share our UC familiarity to see what's the better place to set the RP in.

  1. Valiant - MSG to CCA, Unicorn
  2. Acidic - MSG to CCA
  3. Saigo
  4. Frosty
