The Coliseum Latest Topicshttps://play.adventdestiny.com/forum/66-the-coliseum/The Coliseum Latest TopicsenIron Swords Onlinehttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/2089-iron-swords-online/ Gabriel sat in the seat of his new mobile suit. He reflexively tensed his left arm, as if doing so would ward off the unpleasant memories of a similar mobile suit he had used. “Time to see if this will do… Vidar…” he mused. Gabriel perched the dark mobile suit on top of a building overlooking a park inside of a colony. The streets were vacant, he almost swore he spotted a tumbleweed drifting through a road. “These programmers have a sick sense of humor…” he muttered disgustedly.

He didn’t have to wait long, his radar beeped, telling him his opponent had arrived. “Creed told me you were good!” He said more to himself, a thin smile tracing the EL Diver’s lips. “Let’s see if the old man was right?” Vidar pulled out its’ rifle and took aim at the approaching machine, he took careful aim and squeezed the trigger, sending a volley to his opponent.

Mass Produced Mayhemhttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1822-mass-produced-mayhem/ (This takes place before Gundam Generation)

"Aaaaand time!"

GM.jpg.20e59c4af2ed66b0788fea24b36ce1a3.jpg

A Daughtress went out in a blaze as a blue beam pierced the belly of the machine. The GM Rush had shot down it's final opponent, ending the mission. Normally a Diver would be excited about whatever prize they'd get, but not Ryu Zero. This was his 27th attempt at the mission, hoping to improve his time on the leader board. The scrawny player sped through the menu, noticing a time of 73.4 seconds. Ryu, who was know in GBN's main lobby, slammed his fist on the front table, catching a couple glances from concerned divers. "HOW THE HELL DID HE FINISH IT FASTER THAN THAT?!" He screamed as he looked at the current record holder.

CARTER LEE

ZAKU FORERUNNER

68.9 seconds

"Every. Single. Time." He uttered, opting to go down one of the nearby hallways away from others. "I don't even know the guy!" It was that moment when an idea popped into the diver's head. Once again pulling open his menu, he found the other player. "Hmm. Doesn't look that tough." He immediately got to work, creating a request for Carter. "We'll fight in space. No asteroids, no debris, nothing!" He pressed down the button for the fight offer. "Just my GM vs his Zaku!"

Gunpla Duelhttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1759-gunpla-duel/ Hikaru waited at the Gundam Base for his younger sisters who were currently fulfilling their duties as Puru image girls. They made time for him, but there were points where they were pulled away and he was left alone. His parents had been having them bring him to the Gundam Base so he wouldn't become a complete shut-in. There were still times like this where they had to go record voice lines or officiate events in GBN that he wasn't part of, which left him little to do. The latest anime/GBN crossover event left them busy. As he pondered what Gunpla to build to pass the time, he saw two high school-aged boys storm out of a room he'd never been in before.

Can you believe that? Who uses a system that wrecks the Gunpla you use with it?” One half-shouted angrily.

At least you won. My GOUF Ignited was pretty much destroyed...” The other one said, more grumbling than shouting. The two left the Gundam Base in clear irritation, making Hikaru curious. Navigating his wheelchair to the room and entering, he realized what what had made the pair angry. There was a Gunpla Duel setup in the room, and the system still had the two discarded Gunpla within.

One was a High Grade ZGMF-2000 GOUF Ignited and the other was a High Grade ZGMF-1100/K Slash ZAKU Warrior. Indeed, the GOUF was very heavily damaged while the ZAKU had damage to some of its more superficial shoulder and ankle armor, its shield, its stock beam tomahawk, and its its leg energy piping. Laying claim to the parts, Hikaru headed to the build table and also took stock of various discarded pieces and runners which he'd collected from the establishment for turning into plastic for his 3D Printer. Noting some verniers, and a Heat Hawk with a broken handle, he got to work.

Painting the parts wasn't possible right now, though he detailed seams with an ultra fine permanent marker and filed down various nubs. The base units were made stock by rookies, and he had to use the plastic spudger tool in a few places to disassemble the unit to fix things. The similarities between the GOUF Ignited and the ZAKU Warrior meant some parts commonality for fixing the internal frame. The eventual end result was a ZAKU Warrior with stripped down shoulder and ankle armor, a GOUF Ignited Shield which had heated spikes and a pair of "Draupnir" Beam Guns in the face that held a Tempest Composite Beam Sword, racks on the hips that could store E-Pacs or missiles, extra verniers in the legs where there were once power cable connectors, and an optional Slash Wizard Pack.

ZAKUlight.thumb.png.f9c43313e42ef3f0c8a2b2072b2b7a0d.png

Not bad for trash parts...” Hikaru said, smiling to himself. His new ZAKU Warrior Light Armor may not have been the best build he made, but it wasn't something to be ashamed of at least. Scanning it with the GBN scanner parts in his wheelchair and resolving to use that data to maintain or improve it later, he re-entered the empty Gunpla Duel room. Placing it onto the device where the ZAKU Warrior originally was, he accessed the system to fine-tune its specifications. He was also more than a little curious about how the Gunpla Duel system worked. It was a bit before his time, after all.

Swords and Gunplaryhttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1761-swords-and-gunplary/ ((This is a GBN battle rematch between Roromi and Frosty! Creed will essentially be using just a dolled up Astray Red Frame.))

Creed’s environment shifted from the public GBN lobby into the familiar scene of a Gunpla cockpit. The man stroked his beard as he glanced at the displays and the status of his unit. CIWS empty, beam rifle lost; they weren’t kidding about melee weapons only. The veteran let out a nervous chuckle as he took in the virtual controls. He looked at the environment he was in and was surprised to see that he was on an earthly pasture. It appeared to be set on a high plateau with views all around of deep valleys. The grassy field he was set on danced like waves in the wind, crashing harmlessly across his mobile suit’s feet. There were a few mobile suit sized boulders around, enough to offer brief lapse of cover against an opponent. Enough boulders riddled the field to offer a loose maze with no path clearly seeing the other side of the plateau’s edge. It felt like a perfect dueling ground, not too open, and not too convoluted with obstacles.

Cracking his knuckles the man let a grin grow on his face as he took the controls. The Astray Custom Gold frame jerked into motion lifting its colossal hand in front of Creed and swinging the limb over to grasp the hilt of the stories-tall samurai sword on his hip. With his left shielded hand he brought the Astray to hold the scabbard steady and poised to draw the blade out in a slice.

He held the blade back, instead opting to stalk the maze, like a samurai stalking a ninja. He was ready to explode into action with a single stroke. His mobile suit strode deliberately and not quickly. The Astray was nimble enough but Creed knew that melee fights could be unpredictable and his best bet was to remain aggressive but cautious.

It had been years since Creed had built, much less used this particular unit. Essentially it was the Astray Red Frame but painted up as the gold frame instead. The markings were also custom displaying “OMNI Enforcer” and other earth slogans since this was a unit he had made long before he became a Zapp employee. The armaments consisted of a single samurai sword, his anti beam Shield, and the two beam sabers on his back, not to mention the somewhat unreliable power couplings on the hands. Needless to say he was excited to be using the unit once more. The gold glistened in the sunlight and he couldn’t help but appreciate the aesthetics the unit had to offer. He shook his head letting the notion slip from his mind so he could focus on the challenge before him. He had to find his enemy and destroy them, no matter the cost.

Attack in the Colony!https://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1533-attack-in-the-colony/ (FrostyFoster vs Acidic)

Nemo Trainer vs Gaza-C

Battlefield: Space Colony

A single Nemo darted through the artificial sky, seemingly looking for prey. This Nemo was different though. It was piloted by a former Titans commander and ace sniper, Ryder Sarka. He didn’t have much experience in the mobile suit, especially one meant for training purposes. The ace sniper also didn’t even have a sniper beam rifle. The Nemo Trainer was instead equipped with a clay bazooka, which was far different from the long rifle weapon he was accustomed to.

”This will definitely be a challenge.” Ryder thought as he checked his ammo. Including the clip inside the bazooka, he only had one extra rocket clip, and one adhesive clip, meant to stop a mobile suit without damaging it. The former Titan had a feeling it could come in handy.

The training machine glided over a dense park filled with trees and scrubs, but no humans. Ryder didn’t have much time to think about it as the mobile suit beeped at him. “What? Where?” He said as he looked around.

(ENDED)2 Zaku 2 Furioushttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1529-ended2-zaku-2-furious/ ( @Acidic vs. @Truegear

MS-06 Zaku II in Space)

“A Zaku! A Zaku!” Purred out Artemis as she lovingly dragged her fingertips over the buttons and instruments that decorated the Zaku’s cockpit, “They finally gave me one to pilot after months of begging!”

She bounces in her seat as she prepares the Zaku II for launch. The sequence might as well have been religious doctrine for her, her fingers recite it without fail or hesitation. The Mobile Suit’s mono eye flashes red as the matte green machine begins to move to the catapult.

“Hey uh... whats this?” Artemis chirps out as she notices something on the dashboard, reading it aloud, “For use in non-canon battles only?!”

The Zaku’s feet thud onto the magnetized catapult as the green haired girl crosses her arms in a huff, glaring at the words as the ship’s combat controller drones on in her headset. She remains in her pout even as the light turns green and the catapult begins to throw her into space. She only grabs onto the controls after the captain shouts a threat into her ear.

“Fine! Artemis and Zaku, launch!” She shouts into the mic, “Non-canon fights... the story hasn’t even started and those nerds are-”

She takes a breath and shakes her head. The ship had thrown her into a graveyard. Mobile suits floated around her silently, in bits and pieces. Paint had long since chipped away from both Federation and Zeon suits, each Mobile Suit a slate grey tomb to the pilots still sealed inside.

Artemis’s Zaku grabbed onto its Raketen with both hands. Aside from her four hand grenades and heat hawk, it was her only weapon. Her two extra magazines hung on her shoulder shield like she saw on her idol, a Zaku gunpla.

“Come out, come out wherever you are, pirate boy,” she taunts out over the radio, “I’m a busy girl, I can’t be with just one guy forever.”

Finding Nemoshttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1524-finding-nemos/ (Roromi vs Replicator

Nemo vs Nemo)

Micro debris lightly danced along the chassis of the green Nemo. Grim slightly cringed at the sound as he manned the controls. The cockpit was seemingly suspended in space and gave him little comfort in its mock sensation of flight. “Then again who wants to be comfortable in a mobile suit?” Grim muttered to himself. As the larger debris came to view Grim spotted a makeshift platform and swung around to “land” on it. He positioned himself so that the edge of the field was behind him and stood on what must have been a piece of ship hull, gazing up at the rest of the field looking for irregular movement. He did a quick weapons check to make sure his rifle and shield were still with him, of course they were. “Let’s see what we got…” the Captain mused, his own head looking up at the field “above” him.

A Momentary Battlefieldhttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1506-a-momentary-battlefield/ (Roromi vs FrostyFoster

GM Cannon II vs Nemo Sniper

Battlefield: debris field in space)

The rhythmic strobe of a red warning light silently urged Grim’s attention to it. The light was actually from an oversized button which happened to seal the cockpit of the RGC-83 GM Cannon II he happened to be inhabiting. The crimson flickering irritated his sensibilities and the pilot reluctantly reached over to press the button. As the cockpit pressurized the sound accompanying the light could actually be heard dying away as the hatch sealed.

The Federation soldier then brought his hands together to crack his knuckles which audibly popped inside his space suit. “Alright!” He grumbled, “let’s see what this classic can do!” Grim then reached for the controls and toggled a few switches illuminating the displays in front of him. A large piece of sheet metal covered most of his new vision, the rivets reminding him of Federation designs.

Testing his titan’s mobility he brought the mechanized hands to bare and used them to gently push the destroyed hull blocking his way. The view beyond wasn’t much more appealing; revealing a checkerboard of floating debris from a long forgotten battle.

Looking nearby he found the appropriate GM shield and rifle floating by his mobile suit and reach out to wield them with his new weapon. “Can’t forget to use these…” Grim mumbled. A quick scan of the weapons told him he had 30 rounds in the bullpup and additional 60 rounds stored in two clips in the shield. Fully armed he moved the suit to once again peer past the ruined hull to survey the debris field. He manipulated the twin cannons to share his Mobile suit’s gaze as he looked for irregular movement in the maze of metal. “How did I find myself in a situation like this?” The grizzled veteran hissed to himself.

(OOC: sorry for the long intro, just trying to get in the groove again!)

Collapsing Landhttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1435-collapsing-land/All the crew heard was the dead of space…

The mine detonated right under the engine of the Dominion II, disabling its engines, weapons, and most of life support. The Captain and Combat Commander had no clue how the mine was never detected. Emergency lights were the only thing lighting the screaming halls of the ship, filled with dead and injured crew. People were running around with rumors that a force is attacking. This mission was only supposed to be a show of strength to get some squatters to move and allow the Earth Alliance and ZAFT to access a resource satellite.

The order was only able to come via headsets, “Launch all our mobile suits! Do not allow anything to attack this ship!”

In the cold of space;

Havoc looked at the dead ship as his Sword Striker E made a small gesture toward the ship. Dozens of GINNs and L Daggers started toward the ship, “These men have come to take from us everything we hold dear. Scatter their remains to ends of space!” Havoc knew the battle was coming, he had been sent dozens of requests to leave, but this was home, and these people were going to fight.

Number of Competitors: Me VS. lets say 4 (see how many want to go)

Battlefield: a debris belt, in about a 300m clear center, with the dead Archangel Class Dominion II dead at the center.

Restrictions on MS: See Below

Battle Mode: Special

Referee: pending

What mobile suits you may choose from

GAT-X131 Calamity Gundam (Blake0831)

GAT-X133 Sword Calamity Gundam

GAT-X252 Forbidden Gundam (darkphoenix)

GAT-X370 Raider Gundam

RGX-01 Chaos Gundam (forbiddenxXGundam)

RGX-02 Abyss Gundam (MobileWeaponAce)

RGX-03 Gaia Gundam

ZGMF-X23S Savior Gundam (XxBRICKSTERxX)

ZGMF-X56S Impulse Gundam, with one Silhouette pack of your choosing

Note you will launch the Impulse in a fashion similar to the GAT-X105 Strike due to the lack of a dedicated launching system

What you will most likely be fighting (I reserve the right to amend this as needed)

Havoc: piloting GAT-X105E+AQM/E-X02 Sword Strike E

10 GINNs, equipped with Heavy Attack gear (the rocket pods, or the Particle cannons) these units will primarly target the Dominion II

25 Dagger L: (these will be targeting the mobile suits)

5 Dagger L (equipped with Launcher Strikers, again, their primary target will be the ship)

It is believed that the group has mounted weapons on hollowed out ships in the area. These reports are unconfirmed (would be more anti-mobile suit units)

Your objectives

• Protect your command ship, the Dominion II

• Destroy the leader’s command suit, which appears to be the Sword Strike E

• Rout the enemy attacking force

Notes

• Posting Time: 5 days

• Posting Order: As you will be engaging multiple enemies I propose a team side posting order. Meaning that I will have 5 days to post an overall chain of events (meaning having GINNs run towards the ship, having some coming at pilots, and personally reacting to whoever is coming after my personal unit), then your team will have 5 days to post, this way if one member does not post the entire combat won’t be delayed. Note that if you fail to post it will be assumed you were hit and damaged (most likely not destroyed, unless it is something like me rushing at you with the “Schwert Gewehr” which then you might be run through). I will take the first turn tto get NPCs flying at everyone.

• Note the command ship is operating at only 15% operational status. This means that barely any of the CIWS are functioning. It will be up to the mobile suits to defend the ship as well as fight me and my cronies

• I expect that you will be able to shoot down one of these NPCs with some ease. Don’t go overboard with modding but these are not top-tier pilots. More likely the guys you see get shot in the stock footage of the show.

• I hope that each of your intro. posts will take into account that this is an emergency situation.

EDIT: I will allow up to 6, PM me until you can make posts again and I will log you into the battle.

Collasping Land [T569ssgoku VS the WORLD!!!!]https://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1449-collasping-land-t569ssgoku-vs-the-world/[OCC: sorry but since we need 6 people total to get starting/launching posts in I went ahead and started this thread so we can at least get this out of the way]

Havoc sat in complete darkness looking at his pocket watch waiting for the clock to strike the proper time. He could smell the tension in the air as the Dominion II approached debris belt sector 1502. Havoc was a war veteran and came to this abandoned sector to start a new life. Too bad for him that the asteroid he and people like him settled on was a major supplier of valuable ores and fuels. This United Alliance Tactical whatever group was en route to “Remove” them.

Not even the silence of space could be maintained as the explosion went off. Within seconds Havoc hit the activation button on his Sword Strike E. As the gauges and machine came to life Havoc a small gesture toward the ship. Havoc already knew his attacking force was doing the exact same as him. They had been waiting for hours now, their machines only hooked up to life support attachments. Now, now the bloodshed began.

Dozens of GINNs and L Daggers started toward the ship, “These men have come to take from us everything we hold dear. Scatter their remains to ends of space!” Havoc knew the battle was coming, he had been sent dozens of requests to leave, but this was home, and these people were going to fight. He waited with his “elite” unit, otherwise people who had some good experience piloting mobile suits. The rest would be able to fly in and launch missiles at the ship and fight to some degree. But Havoc wanted this backup plan on standby. The GINNs and Daggers began to launch toward the Dominion II to send it to the pits of hell.

[Battle: 1 on 1] Janus vs Lucifer//Astray vs Murasame - Deserthttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1349-battle-1-on-1-janus-vs-luciferastray-vs-murasame-desert/Referee: liubei013

Competitor 1:

Pilot: Janus Chiaki Matsuo

MS: MBF-M1 M1 Astray with optional Type 71 beam rifle

Competitor 2:

Pilot: Lucifer Lionheart

MS: MVF-M11C Murasame

Janus was somewhat nervous with the fact that she's had limited experience and was going against a flight unit in her seventeen year old Astray. That wasn’t all but her opponent was a coordinator, not to mention he Her friends had repeatedly told her to switch to a ZAFT made unit or at least an aerial units but Janus stubbornly rebuked them every time. 'Loss or not I will not give in. She didn't so I'm not going to either!' she repeated this to herself throughout the trip from Orb to the battlegrounds.

'Coming in for landing', the pilot cried out from the front seat. Janus snapped out of her stance.

She'd only just realized then that they were already above the desert. As the Heli cut through the heat rising from the golden dunes of the desert, Janus thought back on the rumors she'd heard during primary school. Breathing out one last long breath she confirmed herself, I will not lose.

Janus sat in the back seat of the transport alert and ready. She had her pilot suit on and was not feeling all that comfortable in it. She isn't all too used to the tight fitting and was especially fidgety with the fact that this was going to be the surface layer of clothing.

Now, as the Heli descended, she left her previous thoughts and focused on the notes she'd been memorizing since confirmation of the opponent's unit. He can't thrust or stay in the air too long since his engines will overheat. His land time's my best opportunity to attack 'cause his stability can't be all too good even if he calibrated his settings as it's still an aerial unit. The desert heat should cover my heat signals. And keep your back to the damn sun Janus! Take advantage of the time his scanners stuff up. The Heli landed and in that jolt of contact, Janus realized that Murasame's turns were wide due to the missing of side thrusts...or something... damn, I'll have to test this tactic out in battle.

The heat finally hit her when the pilot opened the cockpit. Due to Janus' past financial difficulties she'd lived in Orb without air conditioning and thus found the desert heat bearable.

She gave the pilot a quick salute and rushed off across the sand to her Astray. She kept her helmet on as she didn't want to be so obviously identified.

'Good thing power cables are still in', she thought, glancing at the massive cables that extended from the back of her ms to the almost over-heating charger. As she neared the foot of the Astray, a mechanic began lowering himself from the torso. She continued approaching the person, and got straight onto the uplifting cable as he detached himself from it.

"Oi kid! I've adjusted the terrain stats for you already. Don't try messing with them now. You'll just screw'em up!" The mechanic shouted after her.

Janus twitched at the second half of his words and decided to merely give him a lazy salute than a word of thanks. 'Hmph, could've done them myself anyway.' She boarded the cockpit and immediately felt much safer or in her words- 'exposed'.

She tampered with several buttons and the hatch closed. Switched on the loud speaker and flatly said "get outta the way unless you wanna get killed." With that, she moved several steps away and towards some nearby dunes 'I'll need these. And that', Janus said whilst grinning at the sun,'1200. I have a good amount of time until it sets.'.

Half an hour passed. 'He better be coming.' Janus grew impatient as her initial anxiety and excitement levels declined.

The radar gave a beep, signaling the entrance of her opponent. Janus flicked on the public communications link, 'a bit late aren't we?' she asked the pilot, with an obvious tone of annoyance.

((Do tell me if I make a mistake afterall, this is my first Coliseum battle.))

[Battle:1 on 1] Sven Cal Bayan vs t569ssgokuhttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1313-battle1-on-1-sven-cal-bayan-vs-t569ssgoku/It sure is peaceful out here. As this though passed through his head, Karl picked up his MP3 player to see what song he was listening to. He set back down as he continued to stare at the stars. His GINN floated motionlessly through the cosmos, surrounded by asteroids and wrecks from battles long ago.  He took a deep breath and tried to settle himself done in preparation for the fight ahead.

Karl again paused, trying to decide whether he should activate his mobile suit. On the one side, if I get attacked now, I'm dead. But on the other side, if I don't engage the enemy for a while yet, I'll just be wasting battery power. He toyed with the idea for a few more moments, finally deciding that the GINN was fine the way it was. It had been along time since he had last piloted a GINN, but he was confident in the skills he had. " I wonder if this pilot will be worth all this trouble, or will he just be another rookie who had to be defeated?" He remember most of the people that he had fought in the past, and out of all of them, only a few had actually been good enough to consider opponents.

Karl took one last deep breath, then activated the primary and secondary systems of the mobile suit. The large eye glowed a viberent red as the GINN came to life. Grabbing the large "Barrus" particle cannon, Karl started the GINN through the debris and asteriods, looking for a suitable ambush point. As the GINN came around an asteroid, it sighted the remains of a Laurasia class battleship. That'll do nicely.

Assault on Barge [t569ssgoku VS WORLD]https://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1408-assault-on-barge-t569ssgoku-vs-world/Havoc walked on to the bridge, well it was more a room with some computers that was the command center of the asteroid base, still wearing putting on his jacket. “What the hell is going on? I was sound asleep!”

“Havoc, we have a contact at the edge of our defensive perimeter. Unidentified ship, it appears to be a carrier. No clue how many mobile suits it’s carrying…”

Havoc looked over the visual one of his satellites was giving. “It looks military, must be for that raid we had on that Eurasian Federation convoy. Don’t move anything until they launch their suits. Then…Unleash Hell. I’ll be taking my new toy if they get too close.”

Havoc left the bridge walking through the asteroid base towards the hanger.  The pirates around him were the scum of society, former military, former mercenaries, or just people who didn’t fit in society. Of course, Havoc didn’t care about them at all, as long as he got to kill.

Walking out into the hanger Havoc looked at the Strike. Havoc was still amazed he found a damaged mobile suit in a debris operation after a mission that turned out to be the Strike Rouge. His mechanics hadn’t been able to do anything with it but then lady luck showed up. On a raid a couple of months ago they were able to capture a few mobile suit designers. Havoc let them live in exchange for fixing this suit. They had apparently upgraded it with a Noir Striker pack. Even better, apparently the guys had installed a Nuclear reactor in the thing.

Walking on to the empty hanger Havoc looked at four men. “boys, is it done? Looks like we have unwanted guests.” One of the men looked up answering with fear, it was the one Havoc beat brutally until he agreed to build this machine, “Yes sir…does that mean we are free?” Havoc laughed a little as he put on his flight suit helmet and walked over to a control panel on the door. Havoc had already magnetized his boots to stick to the metallic surface. “You four can go, and let me show you the door!” Havoc slammed his fist, opening the dock door.

A few minutes later Havoc was sitting in the cockpit booting up the OS for his machine. He removed his helmet as he opened a comm. line, “Boys, don’t launch yet but once they do, clean them from space."

OOC: Sorry for starting without approval, but this will take a while just to get everyone to launch. OOC that you accept terms as you launch so ref will know what is going on. Settle who is flying what as you launch but I am assuming it is as I stated with the possible change of the Impulse and the Gaia. Just assume you have been given the order to launch and try not to kill each other.

Basically, I am piloting a Strike Noir with a nuke reactor so I can at least try to fight up to 5 opponents at once (and not be named Kira), Minerva had to bail and I did not want to pilot a Destroy. Final thing, imagine Barge as a smaller version of the Boaz base with fewer heavy laser turrets and more CIWS guns to aim inside a debris belt. Keep in mind that I have approx. 15 GINNs and 15 105 Daggers, and 5 L Daggers that will each have Launcher Striker packs.

Re: [Battle: 1 on 1]PhoenixForce vs. Riku Ishimaruhttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1343-re-battle-1-on-1phoenixforce-vs-riku-ishimaru/Laike had only just arrived a few minutes ago.it is quiet but not for long.I just hope my Mobile Suit doesn't run out of power before he gets here.I am glad that Mobile Suits have air conditioning.Laike waited patiently for at least some sort of movement. He knew any moment now the pilot would be here in his Mobile Suit or at least he  hoped that they would be here any minute.

A few minutes later the scanners picked up movement coming towards him.Pleased to see that the pilot arrived, he opened up a channel to speak to his opponent.

"What took you so long"

Cutomized MS, triple-threat, Tropical Ground Battlehttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1418-cutomized-ms-triple-threat-tropical-ground-battle/Hey anybody want to have a match? I desperately need to earn my license. Here is the premise... We can customize any Non-Gundam, Non-nuclear,mass-produced ground mobile suit . By customize we are allowed to change the armaments and modular equipment of the mobile suit.We are not allowed to put in nuclear reactors to our suit nor put in mirage colloid. To prevent "God-modding" (Over modifying) the referee would hereby judge the suit's schematics and would give specific handicaps to our suits based on their base capabilities. We would post our suits schematics at the thread I'm going to create. Any takers? By the way this would be a triple-threat match.

[battle: Flashing Blades] t569ssgoku vs. vesalius_451 https://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1385-battle-flashing-blades-t569ssgoku-vs-vesalius_451/OOC: Sorry about posting this before the match offically began, Vesalius, just put in your intro if you agree to the time limit. I wanted to set a shorter one so you could get your license faster and so I would actually remember to post since on longer ones I tend to let it them drift for days.

IC: Janus Trine was sitting in the ready room reading a manual. This machine has to be the most advanced machine I have ever read about, much less gotten the chance to pilot, however… Janus was interrupted by the chief mechanic of his staff, “Sir, you seem way to calm considering you are facing the Freedom, the most powerful mobile suit ever. Aren't you nervous at all?” Janus  stood up walking over to a large display as he began to answer.

“You are right, however, keep in mind I am not fighting the Freedom piloted by whomever originally piloted the machine…and technically, the Justice actually should have an advantage in a one on one duel. You see, the Freedom’s primary weapons are all mid range weaponry in the form of these Balaena plasma cannons and the Xiphias rail cannons. This machine was clearly designed to battle large amounts of stock mobile suits, and the data available seems to indicate this machine should have trouble against a single high mobility suit. Its only close range weapons are its Lacerta beam sabers, its CIWS, and its beam rifle. The Justice has all of these plus the beam boomerangs. I might be able to gain an advantage using the Fantum-00 backpack separately from the machine. But other than that the machines have equal mobility with HiAMT modes, and limitless power and phase shift armor. So it should just come down to pilot skill.”

Janus wasn’t really expecting a response, and one was not given. a few minutes later, Janus overheard the comm. line, “Sir, we are coming over the drop point. Are you sure you will not need a drop pod.” Janus smirked before he put his helmet on, having to quickly adjust his mask, “no, this machine is capable of reentry on its own. No need for me to waste one.” With that Janus walked to the flight deck.

Jumping back into the cockpit, Janus breathed deeply before pressing the button to activate the machine. The main display immediately displayed the following

MOBILE SUIT NEO OPERATION SYSTEM

Generation

Unsubdued

Nuclear

Drive

Assault

Module

G.U.N.D.A.M Complex

_Series AVTC-T1 Justice LA-SE3P_

Z.A.F.T

Janus took a deep breath as he opened the comm. line. “Janus Trine, ZGMF-X09A Justice, launching" With that the catapult fired the Justice out of the ship. In the middle of planning his reentry Janus stopped for one second to look out at the earth sphere. “It really is beautiful, I guess no matter how far away we come, that this place will always call us back.” With that Janus prepped his machine for re-entry. Janus didn’t even feel heavy pressure as he thrusted the machine forward towards the earth’s atmosphere. The reentry went far smoother than expected for Janus, most likely based on the technicians’ good prep for it and because of the advanced machine he was piloting.

Janus kept the machine freefalling, making adjustments as he went to keep the machine now in more a glide. Finally, Janus switched the machine to stand on its Fatum-00 backpack just under a cloud for his opponent to arrive. Janus made a few quick notes to himself about the islands, but making sure to take in the significance of this place. "Now for the curtain to raise for the stars to make their appearances..."

OOC: totally had to play GS J-pop while writing this...

PMDs (Pilots of Mass Destruction)https://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1398-pmds-pilots-of-mass-destruction/I was wondering if anyone might be up for some serious fighting... well okay, seriously I'm hoping to have a 2 on 2 battle with each participant piloting a Gundam; any Gundam would be okay except for either model of Freedom or Justice.

The setting would be a battle in the South Pacific on a small chain of islands, underwater combat would also be available if anyone wanted to take a swim.

Re: Arena Combatants Information Kioskhttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/372-re-arena-combatants-information-kiosk/The Coliseum is famed for it's extreme heavy metal combat as well as the men and women who pilot these massive machines of destruction.  This kiosk provides basic information about each contender.

[basically have a brief bio for your Arena character, since I'm sure many of you have characters here that AREN'T your main chars.]

---------------

Format

Name:

Arena Nickname:

Team: (If applicable.  If you're not part of the team, just list 'N/A')

Age:

Gender:

Race:

Combat Style: (Balanced, Long-Ranged, Melee, Mid-ranged, aggressive, defensive, etc.)

Preferred MWs: (Optional and you aren't limited to what you list here)

Personality/History: (This can be brief; about a paragraph or so.  You can add info as to how your char got their nickname as well.)

---------------

I guess I should start out.

Name: Samuel Arkan

Arena Nickname: Berzerker

Team: Armor Break Cadenza

Age: 32

Gender: Male

Race: Natural

Combat Style: Melee

Preferred MWs: Sword Calamity, Dagger L, Slaughter Dagger

Personality/History: Samuel is a veteran tank commander and mobile suit pilot who joined the Arena mainly to test his skills against other skilled combatants.  His nickname, Berzerker, was attained during his trial matches not that he was an angry, mindless attacker, but with his up-close and relentless assaults on his opponents.  He has a somewhat short temper and directs it at those who seem to be not as serious, but he generally does not let it influence his piloting abilities.

Flashing Bladeshttps://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1371-flashing-blades/Number of Competitors: 2

Battlefield: The islands the Aegis and the Strike battled on in GS Episode 30, flashing blades. Basically a chain of islands with a few mountains and heavy forested areas on each island

Restrictions on MS: See Below

Battle Mode: 1 on 1

Referee: pending

This is a special duel I would like to have. One duelist will pilot the legendary ZGMF-X10A Freedom and the other will pilot the aw inspiring ZGMF-X09A Justice. I will allow my opponent to choose what mobile suit of the two they wish to pilot. I always wanted to see how these two would of fared against each other and I decided the place where their legendary pilots clashed would be most appropriate.

Operation Red Sun (fireminerva vs. MobileWeaponAce)https://play.adventdestiny.com/topic/1326-operation-red-sun-fireminerva-vs-mobileweaponace/He hadn't been waiting long but Ahrend was already beginning to grow impatient.  His opponent should have been here early so that the battle could begin without a hitch but then again, maybe Ahrend was just being unreasonable.  In the heat of the Australian desert it was hard to know what was what and mirages appeared frequently on the horizon which only added to his frustration.

His sensors showed that the outside temperature had climbed up to 44.5 degrees and Ahrend was only consoled by the cool air that his MS was blowing on him right now.

Finally his scanners picked up movement and Ahrend opened up a channel reserved solely for arena pilots.

"I'm glad to see that you've finally made it."
